Lillian and Sophie are pulled into yet another dangerous mystrey and this time it’s trickier than ever. With the openning of Mr.Lyle’s art exhibition coming up the last thing anyone wants to happen is the king’s painting to disapear and be repalced by a fake. With no direct leads the two are stuck, but with help from art students Jack and Leo the mystrey might be solved after all.
First of all, the covers for every book in this series so far have been beautiful and that’s what makes me pick them up. This one was no different, but the actual contents of the book was far from the normal.
I never thought I’d say this: the mystrey aspect of it was to easy, simple to solve infact. I solved it almost immediatly, I’m not sure of that’s my AMAZING *coughs* solving skills or not but, you get what I mean, I solved it and I normally can’t.
It wasn’t all bad though, it was still nicely descriptive and conjoured up a clear image of each destination they travelled to. The relationship between Lil and Sophie is really quite sweet and stands out nicely. A great aspect.
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a good week!
